The Shanghai Jacket is a standout piece from the Shanghai Collection, drawing inspiration from classic Chinese Mandarin collar shirts. When creating this jacket, our goal was to preserve the traditional Chinese essence while integrating elements of French workwear. 

This design allows easy pairing with T-shirts, denim, shirts, and trousers, seamlessly blending into modern life. The relaxed and casual natural fabric and tailored silhouette complement each other to create a sense of relaxation and elegance. 

A modern take on the traditional Shanghai Jacket, this reversible design offers versatility for different occasions. One side features 100% mulberry silk in classic black, with a luxurious sheen and smooth, comfortable texture. The reverse side is crafted from a wool-silk blend in grey, providing warmth when worn as an inner layer. A single piece that effortlessly transitions between style and functionality.

The entire piece is handmade by traditional Shanghai tailors from our own workshop - Atelier 021, restoring the exquisite and classic style of the old Shanghainese.
